Now that the turkey leftovers are almost gone, it’s time to get decorating for the final holidays of the year. Your home should look amazing, of course, but you want your guests to feel cozy and in your home too. If you're already overwhelmed here are a few ways to prepare your home for the winter holidays:

De-clutter
Pick a room and get started with removing items that you don’t want out or need to be on display. And don’t forget about that pile of mail and where you want to put that.

Create space and change up the room
Think of how you want people to move throughout the space and shift some of your furniture. Also give your furniture new life with throw blankets and pillows if you don’t want to invest in all new furniture just yet.

Add something fun
A small bar cart or beverage center can add interest to a living space and take entertaining to the next level.
